Your tenant is provisioned with seats = 1 and seat reconciliation pending, and we reconcile your full seat count at onboarding (adjustable-quantity checkout is a go-live step). Backups begin once your provider connection is completed — the Google/Microsoft OAuth app registrations are in progress, and until a connection exists backup jobs report provider_not_configured rather than pretending to run.
